WHO WE ARE

Our Story

Withee Materials Testing was established in the spring of 2020 to assist Maine contractors with their quality control need for construction materials used on various Hot Mix Asphalt, Concrete, Soils, and aggregate projects.  Withee Materials Testing is prequalified to provide inspection on MDOT Highway Construction, Bridge Construction, and Construction Materials Testing projects.  Withee Materials testing provides inspection services for Maine Municipalities, Airports, Schools, and Universities also.

Albert Withee Jr. is the owner and founder of the company.  Al Withee graduated from the University of Maine in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management.  Al Withee holds several certifications from NETTCP and ACI.  Al Withee has spent most of his career testing and inspecting construction materials.  During the last twenty plus years he has successfully provided many contractors with quality control of their construction materials for various Highway, Bridge, Commercial Buildings, Schools and Universities.  He has also provided the MDOT, Cities, Municipalities, Hospitals, Schools, Owners of Commercial developments, and Engineers with inspection services for the construction materials being utilized on those projects.
